# Retention & Deletion

You can ask us to delete anything you have sent us, at any time, and
we will do it without quibbling.

What we hold is what you submitted through the Get in Touch form
(live since 2026-08-06): your name, email, optional company, and
message — kept in our mailbox as ordinary correspondence while the
conversation is useful, deleted when it isn't.

To request deletion: use the form's **"Data deletion request"** type,
or email jamesb@opti-portal.tech. Deletion covers our mailbox copy
and the delivery processor's transient logs (which expire on their
own schedule regardless). We confirm when it's done.
